ATCO Electric has an Aboriginal Summer Student program – and if you’re an Aboriginal post-secondary student looking for meaningful work experience, we think it could work for you.
 

If selected, you’d be placed in a four-month work term at one of our 38 offices across northern and east-central Alberta or at our headquarters in Edmonton.

Flexible positions to suit you

Working with you, we’ll determine the best match for your study area, skills and interests at ATCO Electric.

Past students have worked in areas like:

  • Occupational health & safety
  • Aboriginal relations
  • Community and landowner consultation
  • Telecommunications
  • Forest management
  • Office administration

Eligibility criteria;
      Applicants:

  • must have completed at least one term of full-time post-secondary studies with the intent of continuing your study next term

  • are enrolled in an academic program that relates to our work

  • must commit to a May-August work term
